The heart of Minang Kabau tour (Sumatera Dream Land)
Day 1. Pekanbaru - Bukittinggi - Maninjau
After breakfast we drive to
Bukittinggi by a
private car, we stop here and have our
nasi padang lunch before continue to
lake Maninjau via the
famous 44 sharp bends. On the way we stop at
Koto Gadang to see
traditional home industry Silversmith and Embroidery.This one
beautiful village located at the foot of the mountain and at the top of the
sianaok canyon. With the
natural scenery and very
beautiful surroundings. You can buy
silver jewelery in this
village. Then continue passing
beautiful landscapes near
Singgalang Mountain and we make a few stop at
Sungai Landia village to see
beautiful scenery and
Lawang village to see how local people make the
brown sugar in
traditional way. then head to
Lawang Top after. Its one of
best spot to see an
amazing view of
lake Maninjau. When we finish then we drive down to the
Lake.. we can stay and check in the
home stay by the lake or drive back to
Bukittinggi.
Day 2. Bukittinggi - Minangkabau tour
After breakfast we drive to
Batusangkar via
Padang Panjang. On the way we stop at
Pandai Sikek to see
traditional home industry hand weaving and wood carving inspired by
Minangkabau culture/design. Then we stop at
Pariangan village to see
beautiful scenery of rice field on the way to
Batusangkar. Arrival at
Batusangkar to visit the
replica of Minangkabau King Palace at
Pagaruyung. Afternoon return back to
Bukittinggi via
Tabek Patah.
Day 3. Bukittinggi - Harau Valley Payakumbuh
After breakfast we check out the hotel and get ready for
Panorama park to see
beautiful landscape of
Sianok Canyon. then drive to
Kamang village and your eyes will be
spoiled by the
beauty of the quiet rural landscapes and local activities in the fields. We stop at
Piladang village to see people make local crackers . In mid noon arrival at
Harau Valley, is consist of
natural granite walls which are part of
mother nature reserved. During rainy season we should see more stream at the
Waterfalls among many around this area. Afternoon back to
Payakumbuh for a
famous satay Danguang - Danguang dinner, it's a special menu you need to have if you are in this city. Drive all the way back to
Pekanbaru.
