Its located in North Sumatra begin as the Lau Biang river in karo regency flows throught kabanjahe, marike, end onto bahorok river in langkat before the straits of malacca. Wampu flows very fast especially for a beginners i would say grade 3-4 rafting depends on the weather, if you have a big rain all night before you start the rafting wampu would provide a great stream for a professional rafter but the color of its water will be a little brown.
