PAMUTUSAN ISLAND
Pamutusan Island is located in the south
of Padang, very close to Pagang, Sikuai, and Pasumpahan Island. The fact is the island is still connected to Sumatra Island but when it comes to a high tides it will be disconnected and create its own island. Perhaps this is what inspired the naming Pamutusan which means (Disconnect). One of the most interesting tourist activities on Pamutusan island is climbing to the top of the hill which is not too steep and far, travellers are often perpetuate amazing photographs from the top, we can witness the amazing panoramic of the two separated Padang ocean and Painan ocean.
